Mr. Jasper Johannes Prinsloo is a veteran of the Security industry. Mr. Prinsloo served in various specialized units of the SAPS Detective Service between 1988 and 1999, including the elite Brixton Murder and Robbery Unit. Mr. Prinsloo received training in the field of investigation with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in the US as well as with Scotland Yard in the UK and the Austrian Detective Service. Mr. Prinsloo was appointed as a Commissioned Officer by the late President Nelson Mandela after the first democratic elections in 1994 and was elected soon after to join the elite presidential SAPS Investigations Unit.

2RM Security was founded in 2000 by Mr. Prinsloo and two other partners. 2RM  is rated as one of the leading security firms in South Africa and  is the only SABS Approved company for the rendering of High Risk Security Solutions. 2RM was also awarded a South African Aviation Super License by ACSA. Mr. Prinsloo graduated with a National Diploma, Police Administration (UNISA) in 1991 and with a B-Tech Forensic Investigations degree from UNISA in 2010.
